Quanticon™ VK1(Vitamin K1) ELISA Kit

Quanticon™ VK1(Vitamin K1) ELISA Kit

This ELISA kit uses the Competitive-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with VK1. During the reaction, VK1 in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of VK1 on the solid phase supporter for sites on the Biotinylated Detection Ab specific to VK1. Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed away, and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added to each micro plate well and incubated. Then a TMB substrate solution is added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns from blue to yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of VK1 in tested samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Principle of the Procedure

This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Pig CCK. Standards or samples are added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells then with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Pig CCK. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Pig CCK in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
